Remember Me??
So do you all remember my little bench?? My hubby said it looked like a kids project gone wrong. Well I loved it, true it was plain and a little rough looking but that didn't stop me. I knew it could be something special.
Isn't she a cutie? (Please ignore the ugly green carpet yuck... waiting on those hardwoods) I added a wood fleur de leis painted her grey and dry brushed white over the grey. For her seat I cut a piece of foam to fit added a drop cloth covering and trimmed it out with rope trim.
So even though she started out being a little rough ...now I think she's a true beauty.

ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful transformation.
ReplyDeleteI am new at blogging, but have been redoing furniture for several years. How do you sell your furniture? I see that one of the comments was interested in buying it and you said it was already sold.

ReplyDeleteThanks for all the nice comments. On the question how do I sell my furniture... I had always done things for friends and family then my neighbor opened a store in a nearby town and my things are consigned there.
ReplyDeleteLove your little bench. I just picked up a $3 pine bench with heart cutouts that I painted white. I have decided to cover up the hearts with some trim but now I'm considering adding a painted element to the top. Thanks for the inspiration.
