Lamp Hats

I've been a busy bee lately making chairs, pillows , benches for the sale on Thursday.  Well I didn't think I had enough to do so I added lamps to the list.   I always see old lamps that need some love and they are usually cheap sooooo I'm all over that.  They usually just need some paint and of course a new hat!!

Can you say yuck!!!

Now can you say GORGEOUS.  The lamp started our being brass so I spray painted black.  Her hat was recovered in burlap with a bee motif added.  I think she could hang out with some of those Pottery Barn lamps, don't you think?

This little lady just needed to be dry brushed with some white paint for her to look lovely.  I also added a little french motif to her hat as well.  I kinda what to keep her.   I think she would look great in my bedroom but you can't keep everything... Or can you?

  6. Beautiful! They could definitely hang with PB...or Ballard Designs. Grey's surgery went very well and all is relatively normal around here again. I'm catching up on a few days worth of emails and just wanted to thank you for your prayer. :)

  7. I love the burlap one. I have some smaller ones on my dining room light that I'd like to cover. Did you just glue it on?

  10. Hi guys I've had alot of questions on the burlap stencil. It isnt a stencil but maybe you can make it one. It is a design that my son made me I saw it somewhere and he made it up for me (he does graphics). The other one I purchased off Etsy. I have a yudu machine so I use alot of digital art.

  12. WOW !! Your lamps are beautiful and, yes, could give PB lamps a run for their money !! I love them. You are one talented lady. And, a kind one too ... thanks for your thoughtful note about my dining room re-do! It's been a slow process, but a fun one. Take care, *Becca*
