So far I have only one coat of grey on it.. think I'm goin to glaze it with white jazz it up who knows?? Got any ideas?? (Please pretend that I have beautiful wood floors in my kitchen. Due to having 3 kiddos in college for the past five years they were put on hold but hopefully soon... fingers crossed.)
Here's a few benches and stools that I have completed.
I think the last two are my favorite. They are tiny little stools I love the ruffle one because I love green. And the fleur de lis is special I wanted a french script and didn't know what to say so I translated the 23 Psalm with the help of an online translator.( We don't speak much french here in Oklahoma!!) I love love script of any kind it makes me smile!!!!
I love your benches. The Psalm 23 translation is great. I absolutley love scripture in my home. Again with ruffles...I adore ruffles. I can't wait to see what you do with your new bench.
ReplyDeleteThe benches came out just great! I also love that floor mat ~ where did you get it?!
ReplyDeleteI got the floor mat at a little boutique in Yukon Ok. I love it!!!
ReplyDeleteConheci agora o seu blog, Parabéns!!
ReplyDeleteQue belas cadeiras, também é voce que faz os bordados? São lindos!!!
Também gostava de fazer um monograma numa almofada, mas não me ajeito nada com isso...
Beijinhos
I really like your benches and stools. Too cute! I must say though, that I love the last one the most. I had done something similar on the inset of my kitchen cabinet panels, except I translated a Julia Child quote about cooking into French and used that as background and then did an ornate Fleur de Lis over it. Guess great Okies think a like, huh? :)
ReplyDeleteLove the benches-especially the "Bee in the wreath"-where did you find that -great blog and I love your ideas-keep up the great work! claire from rosegirls3.blogspot.com
